Experience

Making things talk to each other.

Equipment from different manufacturers, incompatible protocols, plants hundreds of kilometres apart, procedures that live on paper. This is the tour of what we have built.

Areas of work

Process plant automation

Turning a physical process into a controlled, repeatable, documented operation.

Complete control engineering: defining the control philosophy, the instrument list, the system architecture, P&ID diagrams, the electrical installation budget and the controller programming.

At a propane-air plant, the whole system on an Allen Bradley MicroLogix PLC with an operator panel, including backup and documentation of the programs in service. At a boiler house, the control architecture on a Siemens platform. At an oxygen plant, the control of compressors and humidifiers, developed in phases and migrated to another platform midway: every component was delivered with its own unit test protocol.

Method

How it is delivered.

Common to every project: separate technical and commercial proposals, a Gantt chart, a design document, dated progress minutes, phase assessments, test sheets, and user and administration manuals. The work does not end when the equipment powers on.
